There is indeed an answer to school shootings and it is right under EVERYONE’s nose!
The answer is GOD!
I watched television commentators, policemen, politicians and a particularly emotional school teacher pour out emotional pleas for someone to do SOMETHING about the carnage we have all seen reported. It causes me to shake my head and whisper out loud … A devout Christian would not have committed that crime.
More gun control laws will not work. We must strictly enforce existing law. Outlawing AR-15’s will not eliminate the possibility of a darkened heart moving someone to take lives. Only the teachings of Christ can begin to defeat the force that is causing this kind of behavior … this hatred.
The older I get the more I understand this truth.
We all need to look in the mirror … find the good … and be a voice for GOD!
